The objective of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and practical skills to gain employment as an esthetician, make-up artist, Nail Technician, entrepreneur, sales consultant or start their own business. The program is recognized and aligned with expectations of The Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick (CANB) and is intended to provide students with the opportunity to develop the technical skills through classroom and salon-like experiences.
The Medes College Esthetics Program provides a complete solution to become an expert in the Beauty Industry. In 1500 hours of theoretical and practical training, our Medical Esthetics Program consists of: general science, skin science, manicuring, pedicuring, facials, hair removal, makeup, spa treatments, artificial nails, business skills development, eyelash enhancements, by-laws, Act & Policies of the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick. Duration: 41 weeks
Schedule: 4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday, + 8 Mondays
September 2, 2025 to July 3, 2026
(Including on the job training during the last two weeks)
Admissions Requirements:
- Standard Admission: Grade 12 diploma OR successful completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Mature Admission: At least 21 years of age with grade 10
- CANB Esthetic Certification
- CANB Eyelash Technician Certification
- Medes Esthetics Diploma
- Eyelash Enhancement Certification
- EnVogue Artificial Nail Certification (Lac-it, CBS and Simply)
